Mission:
Joel said it…The Apostles Started it…We will perfect it…
And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions (Joel 2:28 KJV). It is our goal to serve all youth in their efforts to attain all the greatness that Jesus Christ has destined for them, by means of the unadulterated Apostolic doctrine, but with a 21st century vibe.
Vision:
Our Vision can be defined by the acronym H.E.I.R.
H- Holy:
After being delivered from the Land of Egypt the Lord God commanded the Children of Israel “For I am the LORD that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy”(Lev 11:45 KJV). God’s command remains the same today. A standard of holiness is still required, and it is our desire to teach this standard in a manner that conveys the love and compassion of Jesus Christ. “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:” (Heb 12:14 KJV).
E- Equipped:
Ephesians 6:11 instructs us to, “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” It is our goal through bible studies, group sessions, fasting, prayer, and other teaching opportunities, to fully equip the youth of NDW for both the battles of the spirit as well as everyday living.
I- Intimate:
It is our ultimate goal to instruct and develop youth into intimate and not habitual worshippers, for as John 4: 24 says, “they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth”.
R- Relative:
“To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some” (1 Cor 9:22 KJV). Here at NDW we feel that relativity is one of the key aspects missing in the modern church. Through hands on teaching, on both a practical and spiritual level, we hope to educate youth in the ways of godliness as well as day to day living.
